RE: Tape Drive Configuration

Is anyone else having problems downloading service packs from the IBM
site:

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/as400/products/clientaccess/win32/v5r3m0/serv
icepack/si21917/

This is the second time in a week, I've tried downloading the service
pack or its subcomps.  It's trying to do the download but quotes 20
hours.  It's downloading but very slow.  

The network to other sites is fine as was the connection to the client
access service pak page.

  You do not need to do anything special.
  If you are not using volume names in your SAVxx command, you do not
need
any special volume id's for the tape.  The next tape loaded in the
carosel
will be mounted when the active tape reaches the end of volume.
