Nobody buys those systems without an OS.  It's what makes it unique. The
same hardware sold as a pSeries is considered current technology.  Often
I and others say AS/400 and mean the OS.  I should have been more clear
on this point.  I've heard nobody claiming the i5 hardware is legacy.
Read i5/OS for my concern about the future of this platform.
