I agree, IBM needs to find ~the~ solution that they will offer for non-5250. I think they might have that now with WDHT in V5R4. It still will compete with third party tools, but now they ~should~ have everyone speaking the same language of GUI.

As for hardware/software, your words were "AS400/iSeries/i5". Sounded like hardware to me.

And yes, Windows is still Windows, but that is an OS - if we are arguing OS name changes, that is one thing. You reviewed server name changes. Has Dell, HP, Sun, never changed the name of their server? How about intel with 8088,
286, 386, 386SX, 486, 486SX, Pentium, Pentium M, Centrino.... ?

I've not been talking hardware.
