A browser upgrade is one of the first things I try, along with ensuring that my
JRE, etc., is also current. (With recent Sun Java auto-update or notification,
my Java is rarely behind anymore.) Current updates seem more important than
choice of browser in terms of how often an update fixes the problem.

(That last bit is irritating because IBM sites seem to regularly require the
absolute latest possible everything. Meanwhile, we often get to develop with
lowest-common denominator tools or at least tools that are behind.)

I use Mozilla 1.7.11 with no idea how that relates to Firefox releases. My need
for IE has dropped significantly during the past year.

I wonder how much of the IE market share is influenced by users like me. That
is, I ~do~ use IE when there's no other way. Do I get counted as one IE user as
well as one Mozilla user?
