Let's see, 1000/370=270% increase.  Adding memory?
PCI @ 32Bit x 66MHz to PCI-X @ 64Bit x 133MHz
10K rpm disk on Raid-5 with no cache? To 15k rpm disk on Raid-5 with loads
of cache?

Hours becomes minutes and compiles are done before you get the message the
job as submitted.

You will be blown off your feet.  That is if your disk is upgraded as I
questioned?  But I will be much faster depending on work load.
