RE: DNS on iSeries issue

At a DHCP client start by re-booting it.  Logon then check the IP config.
Open a command window and type ipconfig /all if you are using win2K or XP.
Verify that your DNS server is pointing to your iSeries DNS Server.  On your
PC, from a command window, type nslookup.  It should show your default
server as your iSeries.  Type something like ibm.com and see what you come
up with.  I received 6 addresses.  If this works, then everything is setup
correctly.  If you have two DHCP servers running, your results will be
unpredictable.  You will need some LAN scanner to find the rouge DHCP
server.

This was all set up for me many moons ago by the IBM BP.  I just verified
the above as correct.
