To get started I would suggest going to the Information Center and selecting Programming/APIs/APIs by category/Print/General Print APIs and then paging down to the Exit programs section. From there you might find the Writer Transform and Print Driver entries to be of interest... I've got the technical specs for the printer, and I've written RPG code in the past to drive the printer, but I want this printer to be able to accept any *SCS spooled file on the system, not just spools especially written for this printer. Can I write my own printer driver? Any particularly good resources for getting started?
