Hello Kirk. We offer a product called WinSpool/400 Electronic Forms which can be used to generate electronic forms or nice looking versions of your standard reports with lines, shading, logos, etc. The resulting documents can be printed, emailed, faxed or archived in PDF format. We also have an Email Report Server product for automatically emailing your formatted reports. For more information, check out our web site or feel free to contact me directly for a discussion. You can download a FREE trial version or we can mail you a demo CD as well. Regards, Richard Schoen RJS Software Systems Inc. Every user gets there own output queue created on the system. When a user request a report, the report is generated and placed in the iSeries output queue for that user. We use ASC's Esend product to convert the spool file to a pdf, and then email it to the user. We wanted to use the same method to deliver reports to all users. Right now we have a little over 2,000 users on this one application but we expect that number to grow to over 10,000 as we allow parents access to the system and they can run their own reports on their children. Now for the problem: We have a request by teachers to add grid lines and shading to the reports, and I haven't a clue how to accomplish that request. Thank you for your help. Vendor replies are welcome. -- Kirk Yates Director of Data Processing Rockwood School District 636.458.7333 250
