> My question is, what's the scuttlebutt? Well, technically, the scuttlebutt is a barrel (or "butt") with a hole (or "scuttle") cut into it, used to store drinking water on a sailing ship. Effectively a pre-20th-century version of the drinking fountain. Seriously, I wouldn't mind one bit, seeing a built-in console added to the next generation of AS/400s, as long as it eliminates the need for all those silly CA/Windoze-based things like OpsConsole, OpsNav, &c. And if it's Linux-based, it's certainly an improvement over something Windoze-based. Although I'd still prefer for IBM to stop making such a show of abandoning Twinax. -- JHHL
