I don't know Al,
DLTSPLF FILE(*SELECT)

Would have worked too. <G>
Also, I don't really see how anyone can call anything that doesn't allow
backup/recover "sound."

Hi,
If you like it or not, QSPL is a library that can neither be saved nor
restored. Even if you could, work management relies on job structures to
link the spool members with jobs. This structure is old, and IMHO rather
sound. I don't understand how you could have lost spool, unless you told
it to blow away spool on a manual IPL.

Hi All,
During an upgrade last night, some of the spool files on a V5R2 system ( I
believe, including the outq's ) were lost.
We do not have a Spool file backup system. The question is "Can we restore
Saturday night's QSPL and get back all our spool files" ?
Thanks
