Go CLEANUP then #1 and set the number of days for SYSTEM Journals and Logs to say... "1". I think the default is "30" days

Dear List,
For the last couple of weeks, I have been trying a number of different IPL options on an AS/400 9402 model F04 (one of our old development machines) to try and find a method to exit from the IPL, to delete some history files, before continuing with the IPL. The reason is that I have exhausted my available disk space to the point where an IPL cannot be successfully completed due to lack of storage.
Does anyone know if OS/400 V3R2 offers such a function?
Thanks.
Best Regards,
