Thanks to everyone for their help. It is as I suspected... and the steps
helped clarify it.

And Jan, your solution is exactly what I have built. I can create
queries/reports on the iSeries and they appear in Excel or Word for the
user. I was just having difficulty accessing the IFS folder - since I am
creating a solution for multiple customers, I need to be much more specific
than if I was just building it on one iSeries.

The next step is the automatic PDF conversion to attach to an email. I
~love~ this integration stuff - taking my customers beyond the standard
refacing.

I just need to beat OS400 at its own OpsNav game...
