Hi Trevor, 1.) On the 400, MKDIR and F4. 2.) To check it on the 400, WRKLNK. 3.) You can either go in via OPSNAV (cannot remember the option in the left frame), setup a share there and the go into File Shares and map a drive or you can access it by path, e.g \\QXXXXXXX\dir\ where QXXXXXXX is your NetServer name and dir of course the directory you created. I am sure someone may have mentioned it here before, but here goes. This may be of interest to some of the 5250 folks. I did this from the iSeries on V5R1 and the 400 on V4R4. The customer wanted to provide certain people with the functionality to select an option on the 5250 sesion and then have that data automagically come up on the PC within an Excel spreadsheet. As a result of having seen (in certain ways, incoherent) suggestions to various questions on this list, I have provided the customer with the solution. As we used to say, the code is efficient, maintainable and 'elegant'.
