In fairness I've not seen this particular product, but I've looked at others. They do handle "pure" ASP rather well, but the power of ASP is the ability to talk to COM objects -- be that ADO, PDF-handlers, custom COM objects, XML parsers, etc. I've not seen a COM environment in these products. There is a weak COM to Java bridge, but then you get to the issue of available COM components vs. Java components. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. The Chilisoft product used to but it's no longer listed since Sun took it over. I've no affiliation with and have not used either product. - John -----Original Message----- From: Kern, Mary T [mailto:MKern4@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, April 11, 2003 11:26 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Active Server Pages I am looking into web serving on my 400. We have developers here who only know, understand, believe in ASP. I know this is a M$ product. Is there any way the 400 can serve ASP?
