If a company was considering adding Linux workstations for call center
applications then any use of Microsoft-specific products, like ASP, would be

In fairness I've not seen this particular product, but I've looked at
others. They do handle "pure" ASP rather well, but the power of ASP is the
ability to talk to COM objects -- be that ADO, PDF-handlers, custom COM
objects, XML parsers, etc. I've not seen a COM environment in these
products. There is a weak COM to Java bridge, but then you get to the issue
of available COM components vs. Java components.
