Any references to a "How to get started with Visual Age RPG"
guide/tutorial/etc.?

Loyd, you might ask him if he'd let you use an IBM product that he
already
has and owns. I beat the drum for Visual Age RPG too regularly I
know, but
when I see people thinking about Visual Basic for the iSeries it makes
me
cringe.

1-You own VARPG
2-VARPG works, right now.
3-You know RPGIV (the language for VARPG)
4-Visual Basic projects have a reputation for never ending.

There are other reasons too. If you'd like to see a few screenshots of
what
VARPG can look like:

Not necessarily. I think the focus is on creating Windows-functional
applications that access/utilize AS/400 data. Developing
Internet/intranet-capable applications may be in the future, but does
not
appear to be the primary focus.
