Yes, you have to define a message data field of 1 byte in position 1 of
the message description and then specify the appropriate hex code for
the color when you send the message to the msgq.  You can also utilize
other attributes such as blinking and underlining this way.  

This is the same technique that has been used to "colorize" code in SEU
as well.

Like many 400 developers, I have used the SFLMSGQ in RPG programs to

Yesterday, a request came in to display the message in RED...and all I

read/found on the subject is that the message will be highlighted. Is 
colorizing the messages displayed from a SFLMSGQ a possibility?
