With 100's of messages in our existing message file, "re-attributing" them would probably take awhile. I guess IBM defaults to highlight and there is nothing we can do about it other than re-code the message itself.

Maybe, if you insert the attribute value for RED in the message text. Don't know if this works - might be worth a try. And be sure to put the NORMAL attribute at the end.

RED is x'28', RED blinking is x'2A'
