Oliver - Given that you have verified that what you say is true, I'd say that your biggest exposures would be how you have CAE file transfers, ODBC/JDBC/OLEDB, and FTP access secured. If the users are members of a group profile that has authority to the database files, you don't want them overlaying production data by uploading files, and you also don't want them downloading sensitive data for which they are not authorized. CAE has built-in security options that let you disallow certain features, like file transfer, by user id. With all, I would say that the best way to secure these items is with exit programs.
