Someone in this thread mentioned the "Top 10 Security Risks" session
that I do at COMMON.  During this web cast I'll cover an abbreviated
version of this - more like a top 6 - because of the limited time (I
gotta give Pat some time to talk about all the V5r2 new stuff, ya know).


With regard to your Security Questions, the first question I have is: 
Have you turned on the Security Audit Journal (QAUDJRN)?  This is the
best source of security information on the iSeries.  If not, how will
you know if there is a problem?  Recommendation #1 is to turn this puppy
on this week.   next week.  Next week we'll talk about what you can do
with the data you collected.
