When I used the iPTF FTP image process with a V5R1 CUME order, I got 5 CD images to download, 3 for the CUME, 1 for DB, and 1 for HIPER.

Another thought - there's a step one can take when installing a CUME, to install any additional PTFs. That's usually where I install the group stuff. Is there a problem with that, or is that the preferred way to do this?

Cheers

Vern

The database and hiper groups on not on the same Cd's as the cume. They
will, however, come in the same overnight package. There should be an
additional Cd in there with both groups on it. You'll have to look
carefully at the labels on the CD's and in the cume instructions itself to
figure it out.

Not on the first cume after an upgrade, but on cumes after that I would
put on all group ptf's, then the cume, and only IPL after the cume.
