Again, I have no system save tape, because I have no tape drive on this
machine.  Therefore, the only route for me is scratch install of V5R1 and go
from there.

That means I lose WebSphere completely, because I have no media for
WebSphere for V5R1, and I don't know if you can even get WAS35SE (5733AS3)
media for V5R1 (if anybody knows, please feel free to post that
information).

That's okay, though, because only one of my clients still has WAS35SE, and I
need to support other options anyway.

So I'm reasonably certain that there's no way out of this, and I may as well
start the scratch install of V5R1.  I'm going to sleep on it tonight, so if
anybody has any insights, let me know.  But if something doesn't change my
mind, I'm going for the installation.

Oh, just so you know, the machine is a model 270 and I use a brick (dumb
tube) for the console, even though it WANTS a PC (I always have an A900 on
my SRC display).
