Don't forget lawyers. You gotta have the right number of lawyers.

I know that to issue me a key, somebody will have to sit down, type some stuff
into
the key generation program, press the go button, and fax me the results. That
takes
time and resources. I'm prepared to compensate for that. So, what is a
reasonable
number?

Every consultant I've ever worked with has a billable minimum. Sometimes it's
one
hour, sometimes two. So if I give the guy 5 minutes work, I'm going to pay him
for
the hour. Is that reasonable? Well, I happen to think so, and I know the
rules going
in. Also, I've never been treated unfairly from a billing perspective by any
of the
consultants I've worked with.

If it were $100, I wouldn't be complaining, but $10,000? Talk about information
superhighway robbery... jeez!
