I was working in a data that was still under construction.  I had gave my
notice the prv week.

A joker( pgmr) kept asking me what would happen if he hit the red button. I
said "try it and see".  The whole room got real quiet, real quick.  He
tried to pull it back out, too late. 3 AS/400's a s/36, switching equipment
etc.

I took the heat, it was my last week.

Ahh here is an EPO switch funny.  Tie it to your fire alarm so when the
alarm goes off, so does all the equipment in the computer room.  Now have
the fire marshal come by to test your fire alarms, mid day of course.

I once heard tell of someone who hung his jacket on the old S/38
"Emergency power off" switch.  Later he grabbed his jacket and pulled it
off.

Of course, that switch worked by being pulled...
