Haven't we all pressed Enter by mistake ? A New Year's resolution I stuck
to was to reduce stress by prompting such commands in CL source code ONLY,
since the day my boss changed the system date forward by a day, just
practicing; and cued an IPL which should have happened that night. That was
one tough hour.

What if - (now, only try this at home) - you were to Alt+SysReq+2+*immed
just after issuing the command ? It might just pause it in time to kill it
?
