Countless times a night I used to walk various morons through IPLs from
"that" end of SupportLine. Despite the fact that I invariably typed the
command while I said it, I never once accidentally hit enter.

However, to this day I tend to hit F12 after entering a command.

Our software company's support desk were talking through a PWRDWNSYS to a
customer on the phone.
Yep, the support operator was typing PWRDWNSYS on his screen, pressed F4
to tell the customer what the various options were, and pressed enter...
