As a followup to this thread I have a question:

Instead of (or maybe in addition to) the current Ops Console stuff, would
people like a simple keyboard and VGA monitor port on the back of the
iSeries that you could plug a PC keyboard and monitor into? I've always
wanted this so I could hook my iSeries into my KVM along with all my other
servers.

Thoughts?

AIRC the Console Only option is disabled if you already have a connection
defined for Remote control Panel and Console.

Also with the new 'Control Panel without the cable' functionality built into
the latest V5R1 service pack and V5R2 IBM MAY have optioned out the console
only choice.
