>Have you guys tried searching with Google (www.google.com)?

Searching for 'wrkobjpdm site:ibm.com' (no quotes) returns the same quality
of hits as the Infocenter and has the added annoyance of missing the PDM
manual altogether. The moral I was aiming for is that a single word search
is almost guaranteed to be futile.

If anybody is interested, the Google syntax is simple enough:

"this and that" finds the phrase 'this and that'
this and that finds sites having 'this' or 'that' ('and' is a common word
and not used)
this and that -other finds sites having ('this' or 'that') but not 'other'
this +and that finds sites having 'this' or 'and' or 'that'
this and that site:ibm.com finds sites having 'this' or 'that' at *.ibm.com
pages.

It's all in the advanced search link.
