I installed an Ethernet card in an AS/400 and set it up myself once. It was not that difficult, but I did follow a little pamphlet that came with the OS on how to set up networking. This is the current online version in PDF format: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v5r1/ic2924/books/c4154204.pdf This is the current online version in HTML format: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/v5r1/ic2924/books/c415420407.h tm HTH. Regards, Jim Langston From: "Rosewood" <rosewood@chat.ru> <SNIP> I have not been able to find (even with the help of the great google) a good step by step guide on what I need to do. I really do the PC work for this company but they have no as400 specialists (their team is in CA and stays in CA) and there are no AS400 specialists or even compotent IBM certs around here either! If anyone could link me to a very complete guide (Sadly, it should include this is how you bring the as400 down so as to be ready to install the ethernet card - to what commands to issue to vary the card on and set the IP address, etc). If such a guide does not exist - im interested in compiling such a guide with help.
