Guys, Most are missing the entire point of this discussion. This is NOT about who CAN receive HTML email nor about the merits of a multi-colored, flashing email. This is about the DIGEST MODE of this newsgroup. I, like many others, get so many emails every day, we cannot handle the large numbers of emails generated by this list (plus the other Midrange lists). Case in point, I got an email blasting me about not being current, not using the tools available, etc, etc....about 25 days after my original post. Likely the reason is that this person accepts the non-digest large numbers of emails and is simply that far behind on reading them. I get the digest so I can keep up with my inbox. I've tried it both ways, and I HAVE to use the digest mode. I'm using Outlook 2000(was a netscape holdout, but it just got so far behind and in such a minority), so I CAN do html email. I just don't use it, since I correspond with people who, like myself, may not like it. I'm not THE most technically advanced in this crowd, but I do have a few websites, which I built, running on my machine. I've seen better, but the point I'm trying to make is that I don't live in a cave and cook over a fire. I just don't care for colored stationary, whether it's paper or electronic. And, I have to pay for my bandwidth, not by the byte, but when the need catches up with the availability, I'll have to go to a more expensive solution. So, it does matter to me. That is the point of this discussion. AS/Resources, Inc.
