There is  work to   have it  run but  the
questions are 
what is  your  data worth, & how  long  can you
be  down?
(Casinos are  mandated by  law to be  back on-line in
literally seconds)

LPAR  is a  soft solution and  maintains  at
least  2  single points of  failure 
that will crash the  entire system
