It is important that whoever tells you pros cons one conference vs. the other has in fact experienced both, because both do have a lot to offer that is highly technical & educational. Both conferences have a lot of repeat where some presentation is developed that there is a big need for & the class is offered year after year in which the only change is that it is updated to be accurate to the latest release of OS/400. Thus if you can get to the web site & look at LAST conference information, the course content information will be 90% accurate. http://www.ibmguide.com/k0fe2b/as400/?1F2X804DNE6 http://www-3.ibm.com/services/learning/community/as400/ In terms of bang for your employer buck, the IBM Education Card is probably a better deal for your education than the 2 choices they gave you. > Subj: IBM Tech Conf vs. Common Conference > Date: 02/25/2001 12:19:43 PM Central Standard Time > From: jvega@platt.com (Jose Vega) > > Hello All, > > I am a junior programmer with 1 year in the field.
