I would tend to agree.   COMMON is a AS/400 USER Group.  The big strength
at COMMON is to talk to people in real companies that are doing what you
are trying to do.   The Networking IS fantastic.  It also does have alot of
great IBM speakers and ALSO industry experts that are very open to
questions not only in their sessions but afterwards in the halls or CUDS
etc.   If you go,  press your self to make acquaintances and talk to
people.  Volunteer as Bill said.  It can be a great experience.
