Chris, >Check the power supply for the 8 drives. It probably died. The 40s has 2 >or 3 power supplies. I did measure it at the drives -- I'm reading about 12.24V and 5.04V at the plugs to the drives. The 7117 power supply also presumably powers my 6502 disk controller (also in the 7117 with the 8 drives), and I didn't measure the power at it but DST reports is as "operational" so I assume it has power. Any other guesses? Anybody have a reference for the SRC codes I posted which aren't in my Service Functions manual? But thanks for the suggestion.
