Kirk,

I did that and it didn't change the symptoms, but in digging further the Dsik
Configuration Error Report shows all 8 units listed with a reference code of
0000 but the attached 6502 with a reference code of 3110. I can't find 3110 in
my manuals either (guess I need more manuals!), but in DST's Service Action Log
it shows the top two most likely failing points as:

1 FI01105 Active tape or disk Address 0150 0100 FFFF
 2 17G2900 I/O Processor 6502 Address 0150 FFFF FFFF

Address 0150 is my SPD bus position for the 6502 card, but I'm not sure which
unit the 0100 FFFF refers to. No matter which 6606 drives I unplugged, the
address report here stayed the same.

Do you have any more information on what SRC 65023110 means? And if the 6502
itself is only the second most likely failing unit, how to I determine what disk
unit is being referred to by address 0100 FFFF in the service action log?

Thanks,
Doug

PS - What manuals should I buy to look this stuff up myself? I have the Service
Functions, SY44-5902, which is a help but obviously is not the complete answer.
I wish they were available online...
