RE: Lansa Development Tools

Regarding the CA products COOL:Plex and COOL:2E (former Synon tools); any news 
that you hear saying that CA are no longer developing or enhancing these tools 
is simply not true.  CA is definitely committed to these products and to 
development on the AS/400.  For proof of this, I encourage you to view the 
recent webcast regarding COOL:2E and some new approaches to bringing 
mission-critical AS/400 applications to the Web:  www.ca.com/seminars/extreme.

We have been told that active enhancement of the Synon (CA's Cool:2e or
Cool:Plex) tools is not going on. Lansa however is actively upgrading their
