Mike,
No need to get snippy. No one is knocking Lansa--just stopping a false rumor
about the old "Synon" products COOL:2e and COOL:Plex.

For specifics on the COOL:2e release 7 that came out this fall, look at:

So what? LANSA for the Web has been around since 1997 and is well proven &
widely installed.

Will these include WML and cross platform support (ie NT, UNIX iSeries)
already in LANSA?

Has some other salesman talked with Mark?

The product has suffered in the last years with a number of take overs but
things are moving, I would suggest that you check both products out, Cool:2e
is well proven, HTML and XML generation will be in next release, Cool:plex
is special and needs considering also.

David,

Who told you that? A Lansa salesman?

2E just came out with a new release that includes an ILE RPG generator.
Next release is going to have direct web generation.

Plex came out with a new release over the summer that has greatly enhanced
the product, and another one is coming out early next year with major
enhancements.
