Ours was over one year old and they replaced it. It took some doing but I think IBM charged it to sales expense. The UPS was defective - Period. The micro code or control logic has a bug. This is known to certain people at IBM but not all. They should replace it. If Pleading, begging, whining, groveling etc. doesn't work maybe a Class action lawsuit will.
