i know, i know.  i was one of those.

ibm did a poor job of marketing os/2, even to the ibm faithful.  instead
of marketing os/2, they tried to cram it down our throats.  or that was
the perception i got.

it wasn't until the past year or so that i realized that os/2 was more
stable, and the reason p/c's lock up is not that they are a p/c but
flaws with windows.
