It's just your basic 10/100 Base switching hub. What I want to know is - when it is reset, it doesn't bother the NT servers, the Windows workstations, or the Macintoshes on our LAN. Why does our 400 get so upset? Is there a setting I need to check? --------------------------------------- Phillip Rusch wrote: Hello Pamela, what kind of switch is this ? is it manageable in any way ? we had problems with "learning" switches that used to "forget" about the mac adress of the attached AS/400 so that SNA / DLC connections failed after a certain period. Maybe the reset of your switch does something equally. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
