The 10Base adapter on our 400 is plugged into an Ethernet switch. We have had occasional power glitches or other problems that require us to reset the switch. When we do this, the only device on the network that even notices is the AS400. It throws a CPA58EE error and puts the line into recovery pending. The only way we've been able to get things going again is to end TCP, vary off the line, vary on the line, and restart TCP. Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often, but it's pretty disruptive when it does. Is there a setting I should change on the line so it's not so sensitive? Also, we're planning to upgrade to a 100base adapter. Will it act any differently? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
