Hi All
I have a need for a Twinax printer in a building other than the one I and
the AS400 are currently located. This is probably not more than 300 to 400
feet distance. Through the use of telephone patch panels I have a few pairs
of wires running between the buildings. I also have available to use AT&T
Adapters that receive in a RJ45 plug and output Twinax. Thinking that Twinax
only uses two wires, does anyone know what positions of the eight on the
RJ45 these wires would need to be connected? Has anyone done anything
similar to this and if so has it worked reasonably well, if at all?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
Scotty
