Bill,

100mbps ethernet should SMOKE any other means to transfer that much data
between systems.  I would figure a way to FTP the files over.  To put it on
media would mean spinning them twice... to load and to unload.  Time it... I
think you'll be pleasantly surprised.  FTP over ethernet is nothing like
SNADS over SNA!

I'm "blue-skying" now, but If you could have some sort of optical connection
between systems, the only thing I can imagine being faster is shared
DASD........
