ANYNET adds additional overhead to the AS/400 with the encapsultation. If you have two remote AS/400's and want to talk SNA over IP then some routers (IBM 2210 and the later CICSO's) will Pass SNA traffic using Data Link Switching. The SAVRSTOBJ command is a ObjectConnect command I believe, you could with V4R4 use this with IP (DRDA)thus reducing the extra overhead and maintain IP only.
