Pete,

You will need to do the following to get snads traffic flowing between the
two boxes.
     1. Make sure the host table entry has an entry like this
AS400.APPN.SNA.IBM.COM and
replace AS400 with your system name.
     2. Use WRKCFGL to add entries to QAPPNRMT like the ones below.
Remote Location - Remote system name
Remote Network ID - APPN (look on DSPNETA to see what yours
is set to)
Local Location - Local system name
          Remote Control Point - TCPIP
Control Point Net ID - APPN (look on DSPNETA to see what
yours is set to)
     3. Turn on Anynet support on network attributes.

Thanks,

I have a question, and was wondering if anyone has done this, and what
needs to be
done.

We have two machines that are connected via Ethernet and use TCP/IP to
communicate. We would like to run SNADS between the boxes, as well as use
SAVRSTOBJ. These both require SNA. We are currently only routing IP on
the
network, so can I use ANYNET to encapsulate my SNA traffic between
machines? If
so, other than turning on ANYNET in Network attributes, is there anything
that
needs to be done at a line or controller level?
