Sounds like a config problem.  There is an ANSWER/ORIGINATE switch on  the
front, be sure it is in the ASSWER position.  Also what type of comm set up
are you trying to use it with.  If it is BSC or SNA, be sure there is a line
desc varied on and in a connect pending status and also set for AUTO ANSWER
*YES.  Hope that helps.
