It has been looked at but it's not a cheap thing to do. Rochester owns the CL compiler and would have to engineer an API for the compilers to use. There is no way you could be sure of the same behaviour if each compiler attempted to duplicate the function. Of course you do have QCMDEXC and a lot of the CL functionality is available through APIs.
