Uhmmm, gee, Phil, I don't recall implying that participation in the forum was mandatory. The trouble with the other "general purpose" forums you mention, with the exception of this mailing list, are that they are run for the benefit of the vendor and/or its advertisers, not its users. Forum400.com will not be covered with banners, nor will it spam its participants or sell their email addresses to spammers. We think there is a need for such a service. If you don't agree, feel free to ignore it. :-) Joe Frank Phil Hall wrote: > > Great, but did the midrange arena need yet another general purpose forum > area ? > > I for one have enough trouble finding the time to follow this mailing > list. news/400.com, midrange-computing, comp.ibm news group, and > everything else... > > --phil > > -- > Phil Hall > ________________________________________________ > > email . . . . : hallp@ssax.com > phone(w). . . : (312) 258-6319 > > News/400 C/C++ Forum moderator at; > http://www.news400.com/c/index.htm > ________________________________________________ > +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
