This wasn't the point I was making.  I'd really like to spend all of my
time in all the midrange forums/list/newsgroups, but this work thing
gets in the way (well, it's the paying the bills thing that causes the
work thing to get in the way ;-)

My point was that as the internet expands, there will far too many
places to go for midrange info, I hope that this doesn't dilute the
usefulness of the current sites.

Exactly, but there is useful information shared on these forums, that
might not make it to this list, and in the future, with more resources
to go check, you could post a question in one forum and wait for weeks
for help, but post it in another and help arrives in minutes.

My concern is simply that in the future I'd miss some really useful info
because it was posted somewhere I didn't visit.

I think Roger Pence was having a similar issue with the AS/400 web infor
at the IBM site...

Ideal world -----> just this list !!
