The reason why I think RPG IV is object-based is that it supports 
encapsulation to a certain degree.  "C" is called object based for the same 
reason. A good example of encapsulation in RPG IV would be a function that 
converts binary into decimal and vice-versa. The implementors of this 
function (object) dont really care how the binary-decimal conversion takes 
place. The only thing the implementors need to know is the specifications 
(parms, arguments) of the binary-decimal converter.
